Region 6 Aims Global: Forging the Path to HIMS Capital of the World!

Creating Region 6 as the HIMS (Health Information Management Services) capital not just in the Philippines but in the WHOLE WORLD!!!

On September 7-8, 2023, MedStar was invited to participate in Online Slingshot Region 6, with the aim of establishing Region 6 as the global HIM Capital.

This opportunity both thrilled and challenged us to make it happen! MedStar, as HIMAP ambassador and the sole training provider in the region, in collaboration with key players and leading government agencies: DTI, DICT, TESDA, DOST, and LGUs, will greatly produce more HIM talent pools to shape the future of healthcare worldwide.

Through collaboration, the combined efforts, dedication, and shared vision of Region 6, which comprises the Western Visayas Region with its six provinces (Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental), we can make it happen, guided by God’s plan and will.
